Our Low Voltage Power Distribution Switchgear is a state-of-the-art solution engineered to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable power distribution for systems operating at 400/415 V AC, 3-phase, 50/60 Hz, with a rated current of up to 4000 A. Designed to comply with stringent international standards such as IEC 61439-1/2, ANSI/NEMA, and UL 891 (where applicable), this switchgear is built for durability and performance in demanding industrial, commercial, and infrastructure applications. Its modular, floor-mounted configuration with front access ensures ease of installation and maintenance, while the enclosure, rated IP42 to IP54, provides protection against dust and water ingress. Optional Form 3b or 4b separation enhances safety by isolating busbars, terminals, and functional units, reducing the risk of accidental contact and fault propagation.
The electrical characteristics of our switchgear are optimized for high performance, with a rated insulation voltage of 690 V, a rated impulse withstand voltage of 8 kV, and a short-time withstand current of 50–65 kA for 1 second, alongside a peak withstand current of 105–143 kA. The busbar system, constructed from high-conductivity electrolytic copper (with aluminum available on request), supports currents up to 4000 A and is arranged in a horizontal and vertical configuration for efficient power distribution. The switchgear supports TN-S or TN-C-S power supply systems and is compatible with 3-phase, 4-wire, or 5-wire wiring setups, offering flexibility for various installation requirements.
For circuit protection and control, the switchgear is equipped with advanced air circuit breakers (ACBs) as incoming breakers, available in 3 or 4-pole configurations with adjustable trip units, and outgoing feeders featuring moulded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) or miniature circuit breakers (MCBs). These devices provide robust protection against overcurrent, short circuits, and earth faults, ensuring the safety of both equipment and personnel. Control and monitoring are enhanced with digital multifunction meters that display voltage, current, power factor, frequency, and energy consumption, alongside LED indicators for breaker status and alarms. The system supports manual or motorized breaker operation and can integrate with PLC systems, with optional remote monitoring via Modbus/RTU or Ethernet for smart system applications.
Physically, the switchgear measures 2000 mm in height, with a depth of 800–1000 mm, and its width varies depending on the number of modular sections required. Cable entry can be configured for top or bottom access, and the system is designed to operate in temperatures from -5°C to +40°C and altitudes up to 2000 m without derating. Cooling is achieved through natural ventilation, with forced air cooling available as an option. Optional features include generator synchronization modules, automatic transfer switches (ATS), arc flash detection and suppression systems, internal lighting, and space heaters, allowing for customization to meet specific operational needs.
